My lenses are too thick!

I am going to buy a new pair of frameless eyeglasses, as the last one has been totally damaged by my naughty son, so, this time I ordered titanium frame, but as the lenses, I want to buy high-index lenses as I have a strong prescription, I just want to know if there some method to make my lenses seem to be a little thinner?
