Can I have progressives for computer using?

I am planning to buy a pair of eyeglasses specially for computers, as I need to work long hours at them every day, and sometimes my eyes may feel red and fatigue, I just want to know can I try progressive lenses, as lenses give you all three ranges of vision (Far,near and distance), so I will not have to order another pair of eyeglasses specially for computer reading.
